Step By Step Class Descriptions

Step by Step Tu-Tu Dance: This class is a Ballet Class designed for the toddler/preschooler who LOVES music and movement. They will be introduced to beginner Ballet steps. Props will be used and dance games will be played.

Ballet/Creative Movement: This class is created for the young dancer who has a natural love of music and movement. They will learn the basics of ballet as well as explore through imagination. Props will be used and games will be played.

Ballet/Tap Combo: This class is for the child who likes variety. Class will include the fundamentals of Ballet/Tap and keep your children on their toes! Rhythmic patterns and memory games will be played!

Hip-Hop/Ballet: Your child will love to learn Hip-Hop moves to today's age appropriate music and moves. Class will be divided into 2 parts: 1/2 Hip-Hop & 1/2 Ballet. This class is designed for the child who wants to learn to swing their hips and learn Ballet. This class is sure to raise your child's heart rate.

Hip-Hop/Tap: This class is created for the older preschooler who has LOTS of energy. Class is divided to 2 parts: 1/2 Hip-Hop & 1/2 Tap. Your child's heart rate will increase with quick dance moves to today's age appropriate music. Basic Tap steps will be introduced.

Step by StepDance/Gym: This class will keep your child movin' and groovin' and is designed for the sports enthusiast! Your child will be introduced to basic tumbling skills and introductory dance skills. Your child will increase their flexibility, strengthen their core muscles and learn body awareness.

Gymnastics: Your child will learn basic tumbling skills, develop muscle control and gain muscle. Mats and a Balance Beam will be used. Hula Hoops, Bean Bags and more will be used. Games will be introduced.

Jazz: Covers the technique of Bob Fosse, Gus Giordano and Luigi. We will dance to today's rockin' tunes!

Jazz/Tap: This combo class is for the child who likes a little spice. This class is divided into 2 parts: 1/2 Jazz Dance, 1/2 Tap Dance. Introductory Jazz and Tap skills will be taught and reinforced through games and choreographed routines.

Kid Fit: This is a high-energy endurance class designed to raise your heart rate and sprits while you sweat to the latest and greatest music. Games will be introduced. Balls, Jump Ropes, and Hula Hoops will be used.

Triple Threat: This class is designed to teach 3 forms of dance. Class will be divided into 3 parts: Ballet, Tap and Hip-Hop. This is a high energy class with lots of cardio. Basic Ballet terminology will be introduced with beginner dance steps. Dance combinations will be taught to increase memory skills. This class is sure to keep any preschooler engaged in movement.
